Earlier this year, I received a NASA Space Shuttle Discovery Lego kit from my mum and sister as a birthday present. It’s BIG – 2354 pieces! I thought this would be an awesome thing to spend a bit of time with my son on – it’s 17 bags of bricks, so a bag each weekend would probably take us through until the new year of 22/23. Inspired by a mate of mine, I decided to do a Twitter mega-thread. Since then, a bunch of stuff happened on Twitter (gestures loosely), and after 13 years on that site, I’ve decided to call it a day. I still want to continue the story for myself and my friends, who are all now emotionally invested.
I have re-drafted that mega-thread as a series of posts – I’ll be adding more as time goes by. This is a bit of fun and a labour of love.
